Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Montreal, Quebec

  • Monitor min/max inventory levels to ensure optimum inventory
  • Analyze proposed purchase orders using relevant information, including forecast historical demand, in stocks and inventory turns metrics 
  • Identify process improvements, opportunities and recommend solutions.Evaluate data to
  • forecast needs and plan the inventory movements accordingly
  • Perform Detailed analytical study into all aspects of creating a high performing statistical forecast
  • Continuously analyze the components of a statistical forecast to drive optimal forecasting results
  • Provide forecast information to various sources for capacity planning, procurement planning, and to support annual supply chain planning process
  • Assist short to medium term planning, scheduling, and coordinating for the supply of materials, services, and equipment
  • Identify alternative and potentially better sources of supply
  • Initiate and facilitate a production plan to establish lead time of each production operation according to customer expectations.
  • Develop and optimize kitting process and perform associated transactions
  • Perform cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials inventory
  • Point of use inventory transfers
  • Site to site inventory analysis and transfers\transactions
  • Be the subject matter expert on inventory control and optimization
  • Other related duties may be assigned

You will have the following responsibilities in order to comply with the company's Occupational Health and Safety program:

  • Working in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety acts and regulations
  •  Following safe work practices and procedures and using safeguards and personal protective equipment
  • Reporting hazards (such as unsafe situations and activities) to their supervisor immediately.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in a similar role in Supply Chain, particularly inventory control, purchasing and repair orders
  • Experience in the aerospace industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree an asset
  • Knowledge of AMS and/or SharePoint, an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French
  • Advanced computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong problem solving skills and solution oriented
  • Positive, professional attitude in all day to day interactions
  • Highly organized individual with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment, and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision

  • Ability to travel as required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule for AOG coverage as required
  • Will be required to travel to support base operations as required
  • May be required to travel to different sites
  • Provides regular guidance, advice and training as required to other employees supporting the function.
  • Position requires Controlled Goods Clearance and Level 2 Secret Clearance
